The purpose of this course is to help students interested in learning more about cybersecurity get their start in the field through a curriculum mix of introductory concepts of cybersecurity and detailed insights of the technical & non-technical areas of the cybersecurity field. Students who successfully complete this course will:
Have an understanding of what cybersecurity is
Get a detailed insight on technical and non-technical corporate cybersecurity
Be given exclusive resources, guidance, and opportunities to expand their learning in cybersecurity
Strategically find internships/full-time employment in cybersecurity
Have access to free resume and LinkedIn critiquing for cybersecurity job hunting with free professional headshots
Be given members points per session attended (5pts per session)
All members with a technical and non-technical background are welcome. This course does not require any technical/STEM background and welcomes any member interested in getting his or her start in cybersecurity.

Class 1: Course Overview, Introduction to Cybersecurity, Fundamentals of Cybersecurity Concepts
Class 2: Different Technical & Non-Technical Areas of Cybersecurity, Corporate Day-to-Day Cybersecurity Efforts
Class 3: Career Roadmap and Resources (internship/full-time employment, resume, interview tips, certifications)
Class 4 (optional): Resume and LinkedIn critiquing for cybersecurity (free professional headshots)
Class 5: Final exam
Attendance quiz at the end of each class
Pass final exam with 80% or higher
